This photo was taken in September 2014 of me and my family.  I think it does a great job of really summing up my life  the less chaotic version of my life right now.  As a designer I’m always deep in my creative pursuits but it would be a lie if I said that my family weren’t a huge part of what makes me tick.  I get so much love, support, and inspiration from my little family and I think I’m so better for them being in my life.  It makes life less boring as well as less “just so.”  There is a beautiful chaos that comes from being a mom and trying to get the work/life thing down.  I am lucky to have a husband who is also a creative and is always supporting me and encouraging me to try things I never thought I was capable of.

My goal here is to share work, inspirations, projects in progress, and bits of my messy life.  I want to document things so that I keep perspective and see my growth both personally and professionally.  For you, the reader, I hope that you’ll find things here that inspire you, catch your interest, or maybe just fill a few spare minutes of your day.  I’m always open to suggestion for content so if you have ideas about what you want to read about please contact me here or leave a comment.  Thanks for reading.
